Mindezt (mai felt\u00e9telez\u00e9seink szerint) az akkori leveg\u0151 magas oxig\u00e9n tartalma tette lehet\u0151v\u00e9, ami term\u00e9szetesen egyszersmit az akkori vil\u00e1gtengerek viz\u00e9nek oxig\u00e9n tartalm\u00e1ra is kihat\u00e1ssal volt. \u00c9s a kor legnagyobb \u00edzeltl\u00e1b\u00fai itt, azaz az \u0151si tengerekben \u00e9ltek, nem pedig a sz\u00e1razf\u00f6ld\u00f6n. Az <a href=\"http:\/\/hu.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Eurypterid%C3%A1k\">eurypterid\u00e1kr\u00f3l<\/a>, azaz tengeri skorpi\u00f3kr\u00f3l van sz\u00f3, amelyekhez tartozik a nemr\u00e9g felfedezett <i>Jaekelopterus rhenaniae<\/i> is.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nA maga szolid 2.5 m\u00e9ter\u00e9vel, a <i>J. rhenaniae<\/i> mai ismereteink szerint a valaha \u00e9lt legnagyobb \u00edzeltl\u00e1b\u00fa \u00e9l\u0151l\u00e9ny. L\u00e9nyeg\u00e9ben a saj\u00e1t kor\u00e1nak kitinbor\u00edtotta plezioszaurusza volt, amely a meleg, part menti vizekben kereste zs\u00e1km\u00e1ny\u00e1t \u00e9s h\u00e1t az\u00e9rt valljuk be, saj\u00e1t szempontunkb\u00f3l nem felt\u00e9tlen\u00fcl tragikus, hogy ha ma m\u00e1r nem kell vele megosztanunk egy-egy kellemesebb f\u00fcrd\u0151helyet.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nEgy\u00e9bk\u00e9nt, ha m\u00e1r felmer\u00fclt az \u0151sh\u00fcll\u0151s hasonlat: tal\u00e1n m\u00e9g a laikusok sz\u00e1m\u00e1ra is szembet\u0171n\u0151, hogy ezek a hatalmas skorpi\u00f3k is elt\u00f6rp\u00fcltek az \u0151ket felv\u00e1lt\u00f3 gerinces \u00f3ri\u00e1sok mellett.
