H\u00edrnevet (\u00e9s <a href=\"http:\/\/nobelprize.org\/nobel_prizes\/medicine\/laureates\/1906\/index.html\">az azzal j\u00e1r\u00f3 Nobel d\u00edjat<\/a>) nemcsak kital\u00e1l\u00f3j\u00e1nak hozott, hanem egy fiatal spanyol orvosnak, bizonyos <a href=\"http:\/\/nobelprize.org\/nobel_prizes\/medicine\/articles\/cajal\/index.html\">Santiago Ram\u00f3n y Cajal<\/a>-nak is, akit minden t\u00falz\u00e1s n\u00e9lk\u00fcl nevezhet\u00fcnk minden id\u0151k legnagyobb idegtud\u00f3s\u00e1nak.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nA m\u00f3szer kev\u00e9s hib\u00e1ja k\u00f6z\u00fcl az egyik az, hogy egym\u00e1s mellett lev\u0151 jel\u00f6lt sejtek eset\u00e9ben, nem tudjuk elk\u00fcl\u00f6n\u00edteni, hogy egyes ny\u00falv\u00e1nyok pontosan kihez, mihez tartoznak. A l\u00e9nyeg az, hogy egy \u00fcgyes molekul\u00e1ris tr\u00fckkel (a r\u00e9szletek t\u00e9nyleg nem fontosak, de ha valakit \u00e9rdekel, a kommentek k\u00f6zt elmer\u00fclhet\u00fcnk benn\u00fck) adott idegrendszeri ter\u00fclet sejtjeiben v\u00e9letlenszer\u0171en fejez\u00fcnk ki s\u00e1rga, piros vagy k\u00e9k fluoreszcens feh\u00e9rj\u00e9ket. \u00cdgy egym\u00e1s mellett lev\u0151 sejtek j\u00f3 es\u00e9llyel k\u00fcl\u00f6nb\u00f6z\u0151 sz\u00edn\u0171ek lesznek, \u00e9s ny\u00falv\u00e1nyaik is j\u00f3l elk\u00fcl\u00f6n\u00edthet\u0151ek maradnak.
